CTE began using DocuShare as a pilot project for the U.S. Department of Education's Technology Innovation Challenge Grant Program. Today, CTE still uses DocuShare as a key component of the Southeast Cluster (comprised of eight states from Florida to Pennsylvania) website to facilitate communication and resource exchange among Challenge Grant Projects. CTE also has expanded its use of DocuShare to include other project areas, such as websites for K-12 principals in Baltimore City Schools, Special Education Directors in school districts across the state of Maryland, and graduate students at Johns Hopkins University.
