The DocuShare Client is a Windows application that enables
you to browse, create and edit DocuShare repository information from
within the Windows Explorer application.
Instructions for obtaining and installing the DocuShare Client
application are available below or in Chapter 1, "Getting Started" in the
DocuShare User's Guide. Instructions for use of the DocuShare Client application are available in Chapter 11, "Using the Windows Client" in the DocuShare User's Guide.
Before you can use the DocuShare Client application, you must download and install it on your computer. The software is distributed as a self-extracting, executable installation program. Note: Installation of the DocuShare Client application may fail if you do not have adequate administrative privileges on your computer. If you encounter error messages that warn of locked or in-use resources, you may need to have an administrator install the software.
For all versions, please also consult the Readme text file that comes with the DocuShare Client installation for any additional instructions, notes or updates. This is available in the location where the DocuShare Client was installed.
